Company picnic for a small company - how to plan it
A picnic isn't only for corporations. An intimate gathering for a few dozen people can be more personal and just as effective - it just needs good planning.
Atmosphere over scale
With a small team you don't need a huge stage or dozens of zones. A forest clearing, a grill, deckchairs, a few games and good food create a cosy, homely atmosphere.
Budget under control
A smaller scale means lower fixed costs. Invest in food quality and one or two stronger attractions rather than scattering the budget on many small things.
Integration front and centre
In a small group it's easier to run activities that involve everyone: shared cooking, workshops, team games or a bonfire with conversation. These build relationships.
