Company picnic or indoor party? What to choose
Outdoors or indoors? It's one of the first questions when planning company integration. Both have strengths - the choice depends on the goal, season and team.
Advantages of an outdoor picnic
The outdoors gives space, a relaxed atmosphere and the chance to invite families. It's easier here to run integration activities, themed zones and informal interaction.
When indoors is better
Indoors wins in winter and for evening or representative events (a gala, year-end summary). It gives full control over conditions, regardless of weather.
A hybrid solution
Increasingly the two are combined: a picnic by day, and an evening part under cover or in an event marquee. That way weather stops being a problem.
